The weather really has been enjoyable lately here in south central Florida. Over the last week we have had some mild cold front work into the area bringing a change in airmass with upper 50s to lower 60s at night and days with a bright blue sky with temps near 82-85F. Last sunday was hot, but that was ahead of the stronger cold front that brought me one night of 49F.

The sunsets the last two weeks have been very impressive. I have shot alot of video and photos of sunsets on both coasts and over Lake Okeechobee in the last month as they have brought me out each evening for the show.

Should be some really nice sunsets this winter with a El Nino developing and will play in cranking up the southern jet stream that will bring in higher clouds and storm systems from the Gulf of Mexico. Really….we need some action here as the hurricane season was nil and our wet season was short-lived and below normal for sea breeze storms each day. Alot of african dust worked over us most of the summer with dry air keeping the mositure levels out of whack in the mid and upper levels.

Well..thats about it for this post. I need to get back to family movie time tonight and fire up the grill as the winds just went north again with yet another front today… Its cooking weather. 74F light northerly flow = bugs laying low!
