Low topped convection producing showers at sunrise over south Florida. 11/27/06
Good morning from South Florida. Starting off here nice with temperatures in the upper 60s and expected to reach 80F today as our winds come around to the east. This morning we have low-topped showers coming in off the Atlantic from the strong low-level flow. Not expecting much this week weather wise besides a nice warm up from last weeks very below normal temperatures and “flurries” in Orlando.
Possible isolated chance of some severe storms in the southern Plains today with hail and wind ahead of a developing low pressure trough. This system will work slowly east and bring more rains to the south and northeast later in the week. That tropical “wannbe-thingy” in the southwestern Caribbean Sea has died out. It tried but no luck. I already have put a fork in this hurricane season…more on this on November 30th…end of season post.
Well…short post today as I need to get on the road as it’s back to the daily rush around. Have a good monday and I’ll have another update later.
Ugh Mondays,
