It’s a slow weather day, so I’m going to post another “Moments in Chasing” archive for todays update. Todays update will include a video highlight of the Moments series, so be sure to have the latest Windows Media Player.
This Moments post will take us back to May 24, 2004, in north-central Kansas just south of Bellview, KS. We arrvied on the Bellview tornadic supercell shortly after it produced several tornadoes further to the northwest. The storm was still showing signs of good rotation and had some impressive storm structure that remained. We encountered several funnel clouds and isolated hail during this chase.

I have a lot going on here today, so todays post will be very short and the video clip should make up for some of it.
