Well it looks like I’m going to be away from home a few days. I’ll be checking in Sunday evening to JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL for some surgery that will be done on Tuesday morning. I had a foot injury last summer and now a callus formed on my right foot that is causing pressure against right foot bone. It needs to be removed and surgery is the only way for me. The reason for me going into the hospital so early is I’m on blood thinners that need to be monitored closely for surgery.

So, Sunday evening through likely Wednesday afternoon, I’ll be blogging from the hospital. It’s better to get this done now not only to get rid of the pain, but also not have to deal with this during the chase season, or allow it to get worst.

It’s always something that comes up. Crappy food and likely a pain in the butt roommate are in my future on the fifth floor of JFK.

More on this once I’m settled into my room late Sunday.
