Is it just me or is the global weather getting worse and worse and worse. I live in the UK and we've experienced the wettest summer since records began. I know it's a far cry from garage doors being ripped of and cyclonic winds, but there has been a huge amount of devastation throughout many parts of the uk. Maybe its time we thought about why these extreme conditions are becoming more frequent?

[...] As we are moving into late February, the severe weather season is slowly starting to become more active with the changing of the winter season to spring. More severe weather events like the one this upcoming weekend over the Plains and Deep South, will become more numerous. If you live in the southern United states, it’s wise to make sure your Alert weather radio is in working order, or make sure you have one if you don’t, especially for the severe weather that could affect your area during the overnight hours. The February 2, 2007 Florida Tornadoes in Lady Lake and the Villages is a prime example on why it’s wise to have a warning system in your home setup while your sleeping. Don’t take the chance.
