Super Bowl Sunday Florida Rains

The Super Bowl is being held down here in South Florida in Miami today. The weather outlook for this evening game looks to be possibly wet from light steady rains as a isentropic lift setup and a convergence zone along a stalled boundary, sit just south of the Miami and expected to slowly drift northward during the day. No heavy rains are expected, but enough light rains and mist to make it not the best Florida day for the Super Bowl. It will also be breezy today with winds off the ocean in the 15-20 mph range, with temperatures in the lower 70s at game time.
It’s not the best weather for the Super Bowl, but at least it’s not 25F and snowing. After the busy end of the week with the Florida tornado outbreak event, and my foot surgery and all the hospital problems I had to deal with, I’m ready for a good game tonight at home. Going to spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting ready for tonight game. Look for me again on Monday and have a great Super Bowl Sunday, if you’re a football fan, and to all you other folks out there not into football, you can at least watch the funny commercials.
Wishing the best to the people in Sumter, Lake, Seminole and Volusia counties during this clean up process after the deadly tornadoes on Friday February 2, 2007.

Ilove this site! I first learned of you on the USAToday interview on friday. Great stuff!
the commercials weren’t even all that funny! i was very disappointed this year. the best were the careerbuilder.com, the snicker’s kissing men and the maposouraus vs. the gps system, i thought. but even at that, they were pretty week.
the Kfed comemrcial was funny, but i had already seen that on VH1 Best Week Ever over the weekend!
what did you think?
Hey Court,
Yeah the commercials were not that funny this year. The Snickers was…ummm freaked me out some, and I did like Doritos one with the guy smashing into his steering wheel. I thought the half time show was better than the last few years, even singing “Purple Rain” in the Florida rains. Can’t stand Kfed. Enough said. LOL
