Breaking - Major Tornado Outbreak This Evening

A major tornado outbreak currently ongoing. There are so many tornado reports coming in, I’m getting lost in all the reports. I just got off the phone with Eric N and Gang, and they intercepted 6 tornadoes this evening on the long-live and cyclic Supercell that produced tornado after tornado.There have been dozens of tornado reports now and a lot of reports of injuries. At this time news is coming in from the small town of Bird City, Kansas, where it looks like a large wedge tornado hit the town head on. There are several other small towns that have had major damage this evening, but details are slowly coming in. Storm Chaser up and down the dryline, documented impressive tornadoes today, and expect video and photos to flood the networks overnight.I’m awaiting any incoming media of this event as we speak. Tornado continue to be reported on the ground as of this writing. Over 60 reports of tornadoes tonight from Texas to Nebraska. .. Stay tuned.

Arm chair chasing tonight. Lots to watch, good to study. Storm season is starting earlier and earlier every year.

It’s been one wild night out there. So far 56 tornado reports and still rising. There are severel tornadoes still on the ground attm. Unreal! Our guys bagged six nadders tonight, as I just got off the phone with them.
I tell ya Jason…we need to get out there. LOL Give me a ring this week or I’ll try you.
Yeah, tomorrow I’ll likely call with lots to talk about from tonight.
I wish I could say I was hopeful for chasing this season, but I’m about 90% below what I need to go chasing. Unless I can get my mom to pay or someone else. And this year I have the van, so no need to rent. Gas and lodging would have been about it.
BTW, I love weather.com’s new interactive radar maps, not the highest resolution, but very easy to use with high-speed internet.
You and I will have to discuss this. I don’t think Kersten is going out this season. She has too much going on at work, plus she plans a trip to Jacksonville in May.
I’m not 100% on any dates as of yet. I keep emailing Chris, but they bounce back.
All I know is, todays tornado event was much larger than I think anyone really expected. Still tornadoes on the ground. I think the tornado report count is up to 59 now.

TWC doing live chaser interview with Randy Hicks attm. Also word coming out of Bird City, Kansas not too good as a large tornado did hit that town. Death reports slowly starting to come in.
Yeah, I was listening to them from the other room. They had at least three different chasers. And they were true chasers using the right termology, although perhaps a little over excited. But hey I’d pump up the excitment for TV too.
But it is unreal….and even though it’s rare, it’s not impossible to see outbreaks this early. It’s been good re-training in case I do go out this season.
At least there’s always Hurricane season.
