Discovery’s Planet Earth Series, and DVD

If you have not seen the latest outstanding documentary series from Discovery Channel called “Planet Earth” your missing out on a very impressive cinematography masterpiece. The series airs every Sunday evening starting at 8:00pm eastern time, and brings you mother earth from end to end in ways you have never seen before on film. If your lucky enough to have HD Discovery, this only enhances the intense emotion of the camera work of scenes that you likely never have seen filmed in such a way, that leave you in a trance.
Kersten and I have become huge fans of the 11 part series, and make sure each Sunday night were ready for two hours of Planet Earth. The Planet Earth 11 part series was filmed over a five year period, and filmed some extremely rare animal behaviors never captured on film. Some of the most impressive time lapse I have seen in a long time, of dust devils, dust storms, all types of clouds and one really cool time lapse of the sun at the north pole. The amount of time put into the research, filming and editing, makes this one of my top five documentary series I have seen. I have also added it to my DVD collection as it’s worth watching over and over as you find new things that you missed the first time around in some of the scenes.

I’ve seen the previews for this series, and watched the special Oprah episode on it. In short, I can’t wait. It looks awesome!
The series is great, I got it on DVD and I love it, would recommend it to anyone, and if you want to browse to the exact locations, you can get download google
earth and almost go there in no time
