Strange STS-117 Atlantis Cloud Smoke Left Overs

I was going through my digital photographs of the STS-117 Space Shuttle Atlantis launch the from this past Friday June 8, 2007, and I completely forgot all about this very cool picture of some cloud formation about 45 minutes after the launch. We were stopped along I-95 at a I-Hop for some dinner, and when I got out of the car I noticed people in the parking lot looking and pointing up. I looked up and “wow what the heck is that?”. This wild looking vapor / cloud formation was drifting southwestward about 20-30 miles southwest of the launch pad.
I thought to myself, this has to be something related to the launch, maybe left over vapors and smoke. Whatever it was it was very cool! With the setting sun and the deep blue sky background, it made for a lot of “whoa’s and ahh’s” in the parking lot. If you saw this and/or know more about, please let me know in the comments section of this post.
I thought I would just share this with you after coming across it while editing today. Pretty cool stuff! You can also view my launch video and photos.
