I have been taking a nice weekend break from computers, camera’s and forecast models, thus the non blog update on Saturday. Enjoying the first weekend of summer 2007 and it’s be a real nice one so far weather-wise. It’s hot, sticky and humid just like I like it! Tropical thick air, and afternoon sea breezes make for some awesome beach weather indeed. Summer is my favorite season, not only for the daily convective thunderstorms and mesoscale boundaries galore to play with, but the ocean waters are very warm, the days are long, and the nights are alive at the beach with tropical warm breeze’s.
Poolside Cookout / Party
Today, I will be attending my nephew’s 1st birthday party in Boynton Beach, Florida. It’s being held poolside, so it should be a lot of fun and the weather should be excellent. A few storms in the forecast, but further inland, so we should be ok. I have a bottle of the new Malibu Tropical Banana Caribbean Rum, and a can of Pineapple juice, with a big bag of ice, so the afternoon poolside should be very…..tropical!
I hope you all are enjoying your first weekend of the summer, and getting outside and living it up. I’ll be back to the daily blog grind tomorrow, so until then…Tropical Cheers!

Ok J-man….Enough with the little drinks with the umbrellas in them…Hate to see you having it so rough down there…Get back to work!
LOL - Yeah had a long weekend that extended into the new week.
Brings back sweet memories of my pool boy… ahh, those were the days…
HAHA! When you say “pool boy”, it reminds me of old Mad TV shows with the pool boy sketches, “Yooooou likeeee? - III likeeee”. Pool boy dance for me!
You saw the picture of my pool boy… I didn’t want him to dance for me… just wanted a continuous flow of those yummy mudslides.
