Tropical Disturbance Developing Near Florida
Quick update this morning as I’m out shooting video of the current ongoing rains in South Florida. This new tropical invest over Florida is being monitored for possible tropical development later today and tonight. It is currently causing moderate to heavy widespread rains over much of Southern Florida. Looking at radar, a huge plume of moisture and rains look to be heading north from Cuba and towards South Florida. This could be more interesting if things come together and I’ll dive into this more once home and have the time to review some data…right now I’m off to film for some locals and TWC.
Tropical Depression 13 & Tropical Storm Karen
Both systems looks to be getting better organized this morning and the tropical are coming alive. I’ll be reviewing the track models and current satellite trends later today and will update everything this afternoon….be sure to check back for the latest on all three area’s on tropical interest.
