Slower Weather Months - Boring Weather
Spending Veterans Day continuing to work on a new site layout now that the slower weather months are moving it giving me more time to work. The new layout has nothing to do with this blog, as it’s for a new Florida site, so no worries of a change here. The weather is warming up here today now that our surface flow is out of the east finally, bringing in more moisture and warmer temperatures during the day. This little warm up will stick around through the week as another weak front should wash out by Tuesday. This upcoming Friday though, a much stronger cold front will move in dropping the temperatures back down once again below normal.
We really could use some rain with each of these fronts, but most of them expected to be dry frontal passages as deep moisture return looks weak much of the week. Lake Okeechobee already starting to drop once again in water levels after this 7-9 day period without any rains. My nice green lawn from the summer is now getting a little rough looking from the cooler and drier weather. Were only allowed to water once a week for 45 minutes due to the continued severe Florida drought. With the sun angle lower this time of year, it helps keep the soil moist longer with that one day a week watering session.
Tropical Weather World Wide
Well there is nothing to talk about for tropical weather news in the Atlantic basin, but on the other side of the world there is tropical systems alive and turning. In the Bay of Bengal there is Tropical Cyclone SIDIR, and in the Western Pacific there is Tropical Storm Tapah that is expected to remain below Typhoon strength before weakening. There is even a Invest 96P in the Australian region as the season is just getting underway down under. At least there always something to track somewhere in the world once the Hurricane Season die’s here with the winter season.
Hope every is having a great Veterans Day weekend. Be sure to say thank you to all our vets out there, to let them know how much we all appreciate them and their hard work.
