Severe Weather Outbreak Possible On Super Tuesday
The lower Mississippi Valley in under the gun tomorrow for a more widespread severe weather episode. The Storm Prediction Center has a large moderate risk and slight risk outlined over much of the Deep South. Severe storms, including tornadoes are possible tomorrow as a potent system moves in from the west. There could be a few strong tornadoes possible as the elements coming together favor strong wind dynamics for Supercell and tornado formation. Super Tuesday could be full of Supercell along the Mississippi River and Northern Gulf coast.
Severe storms are possible today as well over pretty much the same area’s out looked for tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how things come together today and tomorrow over the South. The severe weather season is getting underway in the South and this is bad for those affected by any severe storms the next 48 hours, but all this rain over the Deep South is great news.
I’ll be monitoring the setup and will have more later today…stay tuned.
