Florida Weekend Thunderstorms And Me
Any Chaseable storms today? Well, if your into squall lines, then you in luck here in Florida. Currently there is a weak squall line moving into Central Florida with most of it’s deeper convection associated with the line over the Gulf of Mexico. Broken skies south of the line will help with daytime heating later and increase some instability, but a lot of the mid and upper-level wind support is pulling away to the northeast with the trough, so no raging Supercells today. Pretty much getting the left-over’s from the recent southeast storm system. Not expecting anything to impressive today, but thunderstorms are still in the forecast and Kersten is tied of for the day, so I think I’m going to turn my Saturday into a little weather weenie day shooting video.
I’m going to finally get my lawn work in before the rains, and then head out during the peak heating this afternoon for any storm opportunities and maybe some linear structure time-lapse and lightning, and any people shots in the heavy rains for The Weather Channel. Not a bad way to spend my Saturday!
Have a great weekend!

I didnt even get a rumble of thunder out it.:( Just much needed rain.
me too!
