Southeast Georgia, North Florida Current Severe Weather
Impressive bow echo with comma head squall line moved through the north Florida region earlier this morning producing severe wind damage. There were also several embedded tornadic circulations with in this feature also producing significant damage. The Tallahassee, Florida area is hard hit wind straight-line winds with roofs torn off and tree’s down all over. Live Oak and Lake City Florida have also been affected with possible tornado damage in the last hour. Reports of cars flipped and struture damage to homes and business’s.
Southeast Georgia, including coastal area’s of Georgia have reported tornadoes and damage as well in the last 2 hours. This is all associated with a very potent storm system moving in from the Gulf of Mexico. I’m currently en-route to central Florida to be in position for the next round this afternoon. I’ll update more later when I have more time.

Looks like you are getting some Spring-time severe weather in Florida. I have family north of Fort Worth that picked up 6.5″ of snow. Its been a very progressive pattern. We have been quite fortunate in the Houston-Galveston area with the severe weather. Man that meso just offshore of Galveston last night was very impressive.
Check out my online weatherstation at the house. I have more to add on the site. Its just the beginning. I built a weather website from scratch 10 years ago. Templates are great with a little customization.

Take care Jeff
Yeah the pattern has been pretty active over the southern states now for a few weeks. Outside of the severe weather, all the rain has been great for the long-term drought. I’d like a spring here this season without smoke. LOL
Yeah I’ll check out the station today, and man yeah that mesolow was very impressive.
