A Busy Day Ahead For Weather From The Plains To FLorida
A very busy day ahead not only for me, but for folks in the Plains where tornadoes are likely today, and strong to maybe a few severe storms here in Florida once again along sea breeze boundaries. First though, before I get into yesterdays Florida chasing video scenes, I wanted to plug a event that I’ll be attending this evening in Orlando, Florida.
I Will Be A Guest Tonight LIVE on The Barometer Bob Show - LIVE Remote
Currently The National Hurricane Conference is ongoing in Orlando, Florida, and throughout the weekend, The Barometer Bob Show has been covering the event. Tonight the show will be streaming LIVE from The Hooters Pointe Orlando starting at 8:00PM ET until maybe 10:00pm. I have been invited to be a guest on the show, along with the main guest of the evening, the new Director of the National Hurricane Center Bill Read. Other guests include, Rob Fee, President of Plylox, and Lew Fincher, Vice President of HurricaneConsulting.net It looks to be a great show, and I’m sure I’ll be on later in the evening. You can hear the show live tonight or a podcast tomorrow on the Barometer Bob Show website. Listen Live Starting @ 8pm ET. Click Here
Florida Summer-Type Pattern Continued On Wednesday - Storm Time Lapse Video
Another outstanding day if you like thunderstorms in Florida. The sea breeze storms got going once again early, and them became the main show more on the western sea breeze later in the day. I didn’t intercept a slow, southward moving storm like on Tuesday, but I did shoot some interesting time lapse video scenes from early morning convection moving if off the ocean in Palm Beach County, to larger storms and outflow boundaries over the Lake Okeechobee region and in Glades County. I’ll have the video up tomorrow with also anything I capture for today.
And The Florida Active Storms Continue This Afternoon - On Yeah!
As for today, before I head into Orlando for tonight’s show, I plan to play the east coast sea breeze boundary from Vero Beach to Melbourne and then westward towards Orlando / Kissimmee River region. I must get going now, and begin to pack for today and tonight. This is how I like it, busy with projects and weather. More on Friday about the show and anything I hope to capture on film today convective-wise.

Hooters? SERIOUSLY?! Good grief. Have fun with that, but I guess that goes without saying.
It should be a intersting evening for sure.
